There are people out there with 3 or 4+ degrees in various subjects. In terms of the kinds of conclusions that could be reached, this multi-degree per person arrangement strikes me as more beneficial than a group of people, each of whom hold 1 degree, getting together everyday to discuss. Imagine 4 degrees in the brain melding together at all hours, and while asleep. Even so, I doubt my interest in other subjects will reach the point of wanting to pursue a degree in them. I’m not that kind of crazy. After graduating I’ll take years away from school, and if I return, it’ll be to get deeper into what I’m currently into.
